Career emphasis has been on Asia/Pacific Region and small and medium sized enterprises’ (SMEs) export activities. Extensive experience in planning, implementing, and managing international business activities.  Current emphasis is on SMEs using US domestic exhibitions to generate export sales.

• American Institute for Executive Education.  Specializing in exporting through US domestic trade shows.
• Author of PowerExporting™ manual. (Only publication addressing exporting at US domestic exhibits.)
• Developed the State of California & Export SBDC’s Ready to Export™ program.

International Business Experience
• Director, Asia/Pacific Regional Export Development Office, US&FCS (Japan/Singapore/Sydney) 
Supervised trade promotion activities of US Embassy Commercial Sections in Asia/Pacific Area
• Director, Japan Trade Promotion, Bureau of International Commerce, Washington, DC
Marketing Director, US Solo Trade Fair in Kansai, Japan, 1969.
Commerce Department Advisor: Japan’s 1970’s World Fair, Osaka, Japan

Directed Commerce’s export business counseling activities throughout Southern California
• Director, US Trade Center-Japan, US Department of State
Supervised and implemented all US trade promotion activities throughout Japan, including theme
development and marketing strategies. Mounted first USDOC computer trade exhibition in Japan.
• Member Southern California District Export Council, (Served twelve years, three as Chairperson).
